 KTVS-TV-32 features family friendly programming to fill the void created by
the mainstream media and traditional programming outlets. KTVS is continuing to work with program syndicators to enhance the programming
lineup for Channel 36. The current lineup provides you with an example of the excellent family entertainment programming already in place. As you will
see, the programming features classic and family movies, dramas and sitcoms. Programs currently carried include The Andy Griffith Show, Bonanza, Classic Movies, The Lone Ranger and others. The Programming
schedule is continuing to develop and there will be exciting new announcements as new program sources are put into place. More information on programming updates can be obtained by contacting the
station directly at (505) 884-8355 ext. 214. Channel 36 is licensed with a maximum effective radiated power of 30,000
watts. Transmission facilities for Channel 36 are located on top of the Sandia Mountains at the Sandia Crest
Electronics Site at a height that exceeds 10,500 feet above sea level and roughly 5,000 feet above average terrain.
Channel 36's signal covers a population base of approximately 700,000 people in the Middle Rio Grande Valley region of New Mexico. Channel 36 covers New mexico's largest city of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
and one of the regions fastest growing new cities; Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Albuquerque and Rio Rancho
are the state's population, financial, industrial and technology centers. Major industrial and corporate
operations based in this region include: Intel, Xilinx, Sandia National Laboratories, General Mills and many other technical and manufacturing businesses.
